According to foreign media reports, the Baltic Dry Index ended its five-day decline as Panama-type ship prices rose. The Baltic Dry Index rose by 7 points, or 0.4%, to 1681 points. The Panama-type ship price index rose by 22 points, or 1.6%, to 1384 points. Panama-type ships' daily profits rose by $201 to $12,455. The Cape-size ship price index fell by 1 point to 2817 points, the lowest level since June 4. This price index has now declined for six consecutive trading days. Cape-size ship daily profits fell by $7 to $23,360. The Supramax bulk carrier price index rose by 4 points to 983 points.
