Araghchi briefed on the latest regional situation, emphasizing that the dangerous actions of Israel and the US attacking Iranian nuclear facilities seriously violate international law, leaving Iran with no choice but to retaliate. Although Iran and Israel have just reached a ceasefire, the situation is still unstable. Only when Israel stops its aggression can true negotiations begin. The Foreign Ministers' meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has condemned the actions of the US and Israel, and looks forward to the role of the United Nations Security Council in this matter. Iran appreciates China's understanding and support for Iran's just position, willing to maintain close communication with China and hoping that China will play a greater role in easing the situation. Wang Yi stated that China has always been a builder of peace in the Middle East and a promoter of stability. President Xi Jinping has proposed four points for the current situation, calling for an immediate ceasefire, protection of civilian safety, initiation of dialogue and negotiations, and promotion of peace efforts, fully demonstrating China's principle of justice and fairness. After the US attacked Iran, China promptly condemned the action. Military strikes on nuclear facilities under the safeguard of the International Atomic Energy Agency violate the purposes of the UN Charter and international law, potentially causing nuclear leaks or disasters, which the international community should oppose.
