: Preliminary estimates indicate that the number of completed private residential units in Hong Kong this year is expected to be around 20,000 to 21,000.
According to the Zhixin Finance and Economics App, Chen Haichao, director of the research department at Ricacorp Properties, said that in the first quarter of this year, the completion of private residential units in Hong Kong reached 34% of the estimated total for the year by the Rating and Valuation Department (20,862 units). It is expected that many large projects will continue to obtain occupancy permits throughout the year, including the 685 units of "PARK SEASONS" in Phase 12B and the 650 units of "SEASONS PLACE" in Phase 12A at Sunrise City in Tseung Kwan O, the 680 units of "Parc city III" in Yuen Long, and the 492 units of "Morning Parc" in Cheung Sha Wan, as well as other medium and small-scale projects. It is initially estimated that the total number of completions this year will be approximately 20,000 to 21,000 units, reaching a level close to the forecast by the Rating and Valuation Department in Hong Kong.
