The Audit Office has released the State Council's audit work report on the execution of the central budget and other financial revenues and expenditures for the year 2024. It mentions that in 2024, the total revenue of the central general public budget is 10,884.06 billion yuan, the total expenditure is 14,224.06 billion yuan, and the deficit is 3,340 billion yuan, which is consistent with the budget. The total revenue of the central government funds budget is 1,512.64 billion yuan, and the total expenditure is 1,471.77 billion yuan. The total revenue of the central state-owned capital operation budget is 235.42 billion yuan, and the total expenditure is 230.2 billion yuan. The total revenue of the central social insurance fund budget is 300.56 billion yuan, and the total expenditure is 295.73 billion yuan, with a year-end rollover surplus of 85.58 billion yuan. The National Development and Reform Commission manages the allocation of 700 billion yuan in central budget investment, including 163.5 billion yuan for central level expenditures and 536.5 billion yuan for local transfer payments, mainly invested in 8 areas such as building a modern industrial system, new urbanization and rural revitalization, regional coordinated development, promoting national security system and capability modernization.
