According to the "Notice of the General Office of the National Medical Security Administration on Optimizing the Process of Managing Medical Service Prices", the provincial medical insurance departments should consider the local economic development level, the degree of medical technological progress, the capacity of all parties, and the inter-provincial price comparison relationship, strengthen horizontal comparison between regions, and coordinate to maintain reasonable price comparisons. The notice specifies that provincial medical insurance departments should regularly conduct dynamic evaluation of the adjustment of medical service prices, and strictly prohibit the implementation of cost-increasing adjustments in cases where medical expenses increase too rapidly or medical insurance funds are insufficient to cover expenses.
