The Prime Minister's Office of Israel today (June 24) issued a statement confirming that Israel has agreed to the ceasefire proposal with Iran put forward by the United States, but will "respond strongly" to any violations of the ceasefire agreement. The statement said that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met with members of the cabinet, the Chief of Staff of the IDF, and the director of the Israeli Intelligence and Special Operations Agency (Mossad), and informed them that Israel has achieved all the objectives of the "Rising Lion" operation and even more. The statement said, "Israel has eliminated the dual direct existential threats in the nuclear and ballistic missile fields from Iran. The IDF has complete control over Tehran's airspace, severely damaging the Iranian military leadership and destroying dozens of Iranian government targets." The statement also said, "Israel thanks President Trump and the United States for their support in defense matters and their efforts to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat."
