Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) in the UK: proposed to designate Google (GOOG.O) as a company with strategic market power under the new digital market competition regime. If designated as such, CMA will be able to take targeted measures to regulate Google's search service operations in the UK. CMA plans to consider taking type two measures to address more complex issues and to deal with them over a longer period of time; such actions include concerns about Google's bargaining power and its impact on publishers.
