According to the monitoring of the hydrological department in Guangxi, from 8:00 on June 23 to 8:00 on June 24, parts of cities such as Liuzhou, Guilin, Hechi, and Hezhou experienced heavy to torrential rain, with locally severe rainfall. Due to the strong rainfall and upstream water inflow, a total of 7 rivers and 7 stations including Dujiang River, Liu River, and Panxiang River, a tributary of the Red River, in Guangxi have experienced floods exceeding the warning levels by 0.02-2.55 meters. As of 8:00 on the 24th, the Dujiang River, Dahuan River, Xiaohuan River, and Baisha River in Guangxi still had 4 rivers and 4 stations exceeding the warning levels by 0.02-2.55 meters. The water level at the Liuzhou hydrological station on the Liu River was 81.63 meters, with a flow of 13600 cubic meters per second; the water level at the Wuzhou hydrological station on the Xijiang River was 16.8 meters, with a flow of 25700 cubic meters per second. The Guangxi Hydrological Center predicts that in the next 24 hours, the Yangxi section of Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County of the Dujiang River will experience floods exceeding around 5 meters above the warning level, while the city section of Rongan County to Rongshui Miao Autonomous County of the Rong River will experience floods exceeding around 2 meters above the warning level. The Liu River will experience the second flood of 2025, and the Jiangkou section of Guiping City to the city section of Pingnan County along the Xun River will experience floods around the alert water level. Liuzhou, Guilin, Hechi, and other cities may experience flooding in some small and medium-sized rivers exceeding the warning levels.
