Commemorative medals for the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression will be awarded at the commemorative event.

The State Council Information Office held a press conference this morning, and Hu Heping, Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, introduced that commemorative activities for the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War will include the presentation of the "80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression" commemorative medal to living veterans, old comrades, war heroes, or their descendants. All regions and relevant departments will organize activities to express condolences to living veterans, old comrades, war heroes, their descendants, and relatives of martyrs of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in China.
