Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liu Jianchao, met with a delegation of multi-party officials from Myanmar led by the chairman of the Federal Union Solidarity and Development Party, Kyin Yi, in Beijing. Both sides emphasized the need to further strengthen inter-party exchanges and dialogues, promote cooperation in various fields under the framework of jointly building the "Belt and Road" and the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, and advance the construction of a common destiny between China and Myanmar.
