Excellent Pharmaceuticals (00858) announces a profit, expecting annual performance to turn from a loss to a profit of approximately HK$2.15 billion to HK$2.25 billion.

The Smart Financial News App reported that Jeenyo Pharmaceutical (00858) announced that the group is expected to achieve a profit of approximately 215 million to 225 million Hong Kong dollars for the year ending March 31, 2025, turning losses into profits compared to the previous year. The reversal of losses into profits is mainly due to non-cash items, as the fair value changes of financial assets (i.e. convertible bonds investments) recognized in profit or loss resulted in income, whereas a loss was incurred from the fair value changes of the same non-cash items in the corresponding period of the previous year.
