Jinko Solar announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., independently developed the 182N high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cell (TOPCon), with a conversion efficiency of 27.02% as certified by the National Photovoltaic Industry Measurement Testing Center. This achievement sets a new record for the conversion efficiency of large-area N-type monocrystalline passivated contact (TOPCon) solar cells. Additionally, Zhejiang Jinko's independently developed N-type TOPCon high-efficiency photovoltaic modules achieved a maximum conversion efficiency of 25.58% as certified by the third-party authority TUV NORD, setting a new efficiency record for similar modules worldwide.
