Recently, many areas in southern China have experienced heavy precipitation. Due to continuous heavy rainfall, some regions have experienced flooding and geological disasters, resulting in casualties and property losses. The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission announced that after the disaster, the insurance industry quickly initiated disaster emergency response, closely monitored the progress of the disaster, increased resource allocation, opened green channels, and made every effort to provide insurance claims services for the southern heavy rain disaster. As of 8:00 on June 23, insurance institutions in Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi, Hubei, and Guizhou have already paid out insurance claims totaling 120 million yuan, with prepayment totaling 48.15 million yuan. In the process of responding to the heavy rain disaster, the insurance industry has deployed over 14,000 personnel to the disaster-stricken areas and dispatched over 12,000 survey and rescue vehicles.
