According to the report from the Associated Press, on the afternoon of June 22nd local time, a group of US B-2 bombers that had carried out a mission to strike Iran's nuclear facilities returned to their base in Missouri, USA. An Associated Press journalist stated that at Whiteman Air Force Base, at least 7 of these strategic bombers were seen landing one after another. On that day, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Kane said that the B-2 bombers took off from the United States in the early hours of June 20th Eastern Time, with some of them flying west over the Pacific Ocean to deceive, while a group of 7 B-2 bombers as the main strike force flew east for 18 hours into Iranian airspace, maintaining radio silence and completing multiple aerial refuelings, ultimately conducting strikes on targets within Iran. During the operation, the B-2 bombers dropped a total of 14 bunker-buster bombs on the Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities. "Tomahawk" missiles were launched at the Isfahan nuclear facility.
