According to Flightradar24 data, British Airways, headquartered in London, has cancelled multiple flights to Dubai and rerouted two flights to Dubai at night. The flight tracking website shows one plane taking off from Heathrow Airport on Saturday night, landing in Saudi Arabian airspace in the early morning, then rerouting to Zurich; another plane flying to Dubai returned to Heathrow Airport after reaching Egypt. Due to operational restrictions and airspace control, the airline also cancelled its Sunday flight to the Qatari capital Doha and suspended flights to Bahrain until the end of the month. British Airways stated that they have adjusted flight schedules in response to recent events to ensure the safety of passengers and crew. Singapore Airlines announced on Sunday the cancellation of two flights between Singapore and Dubai, warning in the announcement that "due to the situation still evolving," other flights between Southeast Asian countries and the UAE may be affected. Last week, after Israel began bombing Iran, many American and European airlines have suspended flights to the UAE and Qatar. These measures highlight increasing concerns in the Middle East, a region that is typically considered safe and insulated from regional turmoil.
