Beijing StarSky Institute announced the completion of the first round of financing for the construction of space computing infrastructure.
Recently, the construction unit of the dawn-dusk orbit giant computing power satellite constellation project, Beijing Orbit Chen Guang Technology Co., Ltd., announced the completion of the first and additional rounds of financing totaling 140 million yuan, with investors including listed companies Shunhao Shares and Lenovo Ventures. The funds will be used for key technological research and development of the dawn-dusk orbit giant computing power satellite constellation, test satellite launches, and network operation. As the first industrial project incubated and landed by Beijing Xingchen Future Space Technology Research Institute, Orbit Chen Guang's core mission is to deploy computing satellites in the Earth's dawn-dusk orbit, form a space data center, and develop space intelligence using the continuous and unobstructed space solar energy and cosmic extreme cold background radiation for heat dissipation to provide space-based computing power services for global users, achieving "sky to sky computing" and "ground to sky computing." Beijing Xingkong Institute and Orbit Chen Guang Company, through market-oriented financing methods, are building major space infrastructure to support the development of commercial aerospace and artificial intelligence.
