A collapse occurred in a certain area of the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area in Sichuan, and the long-distance tourist area is temporarily closed.

At around 17:10 on June 21st, a collapse occurred in the area of the "Sacrifice Cliff" in the "Konggang Challenge Line" of the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area in Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan. Rocks mixed with mud, trees, and other debris poured down, "submerging" the scenic area road, trapping some tourists on the mountain unable to get down. The Daocheng Yading Scenic Area activated an emergency plan, dispatched rescue teams to assist tourists in descending the mountain. As of 10:00 on the 21st, all stranded tourists were safely evacuated from the mountain. At 0:10 on the 22nd, the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area issued a public announcement stating that due to the continuous heavy rainfall, the area of the "Sacrifice Cliff" in the "Konggang Challenge Line" of the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area had collapsed, posing a serious safety risk. It no longer meets the conditions for visiting and the "Konggang Challenge Line" has been temporarily closed. The reopening time will be announced separately.
