Changsha Customs announced yesterday that Hunan Province exported 79,364 cars in the first 5 months of this year, an increase of 7% compared to the same period last year; the total export value reached 12.42 billion yuan, an increase of 4%. In April of this year, 60 new energy vehicles produced by BYD Auto Co., Ltd. in Changsha, as well as 60 lithium batteries supporting these cars, were exported to Brazil from Changsha using a "box-by-box shipment" mode. This is the first time in China that new energy vehicles have been exported to the Brazilian market using a coordinated monitoring mode with the export of lithium batteries.
