On June 20th local time, the 8th China International Import Expo symposium was held in Izmir, Turkey. Li Guoqing, Deputy Director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, stated that as the world's first national-level exhibition with import as its theme, the Import Expo has been successfully held for seven consecutive sessions, forming unique competitive advantages in areas such as government-enterprise interaction, media exposure, business matchmaking, and customer cultivation. The preparations for the 8th Import Expo are progressing in an orderly manner. The commercial exhibition will actively attract high-quality exhibitors, showcase innovative products, introduce high-value brands, invite high-level guests, plan high-impact activities, and take a series of measures to bring more opportunities to companies from countries including Turkey. Sino-Turkish economic and trade relations have a long history, and Turkey is an important participant in the Import Expo. Turkish enterprises are welcome to continue bringing their unique products and innovative technologies to exhibit, and leverage the platform of the Import Expo to reach the vast Chinese market with high-quality products, thus promoting deeper cooperation and mutual development in trade, investment, tourism, agriculture and other areas between the two countries. Jacques Eskinai, Chairman of the Aegean Exporters' Association, stated that the association attaches great importance to the Chinese market and the Import Expo platform, and has been continuously organizing Turkish companies to participate since 2019. Thanks to its superior geographical location and climate conditions, Turkey produces a wide variety of agricultural products, especially high-quality figs, olives, and dried fruits from the Aegean region. In recent years, the demand for organic and healthy food products in the Chinese market has been increasing, and Turkish companies participating in the Import Expo have a deep understanding of this. This year, in addition to traditional agricultural food industry companies, the association will also organize more companies in the cosmetics, logistics, and other sectors to exhibit, better responding to the demands of the Chinese market and seizing future development opportunities.
