On the 20th, the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) 100 Index in London closed at 8774.65 points, down 17.15 points, or 0.20%, from the previous trading day. The three major stock indices in Europe experienced mixed performance that day. Among the individual stocks, the top five performers in the London stock market were: investment company Melrose Industries with a price increase of 3.59%, Standard Chartered Bank with a price increase of 2.26%, asset management company Schroders with a price increase of 1.50%, business services company Bunzl with a price increase of 1.45%, and insurance and financial investment company Prudential Group with a price increase of 1.36%.
