Cathay Pacific Airways saw a 36.1% increase in passenger load in May 2025 compared to the same month in 2024. Available seat kilometers increased by 31.2% annually. In the first five months of 2025, passenger load increased by 28.4% compared to the same period in 2024. Cathay Pacific Cargo saw a 12.2% increase in cargo volume in May 2025 compared to the same month in 2024. Available ton kilometers for cargo increased by 8% annually, while the load factor increased by 0.1 percentage points. In the first five months of 2025, cargo volume increased by 12.3% compared to the same period last year. Hong Kong Express carried over 640,000 passengers in May 2025, with a 35.7% increase in passenger load compared to the same month in 2024. Available seat kilometers increased by 42.6%. In the first five months of 2025, passenger load increased by 37.2% compared to the same period in 2024.
