China Citic Bank (601998) announced on the evening of June 20 that the Board of Directors approved the nomination of Wei Qiang as a candidate for non-executive director of the seventh Board of Directors. The Board also agreed to submit to the shareholders' meeting for approval the election of Wei Qiang as a non-executive director of the Bank. Wei Qiang will officially take office as a director of the Bank from the date of approval by the shareholders' meeting and with regulatory approval of his qualification until the end of the term of the seventh Board of Directors. Following the approval at the Bank's 2023 Annual General Meeting, Wei Qiang, during his tenure as a non-executive director of the Bank, will not receive any director's allowance from the Bank.
