Chia Tai Biological announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Beijing Chia Tai Green Bamboo Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice from the National Medical Products Administration for the research and development of an adsorbed tetanus vaccine, allowing for clinical trials for tetanus prevention. The adsorbed tetanus vaccine developed by Chia Tai Green Bamboo uses column chromatography purification of effective antigens, resulting in higher purity and better immunogenicity compared to traditional salt-precipitation purification methods. Currently, there are 12 adsorbed tetanus vaccines on the market in China. The company will promptly carry out relevant clinical trial work in accordance with the requirements of the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice.
