On the 20th, it was learned from the State Grid Zhejiang Provincial Power Limited Company that the maximum electricity load in Zhejiang reached 1.09 billion kilowatts that day. In order to deal with the peak electricity consumption in summer, Zhejiang has taken multiple measures to increase power supply, ensuring the stable operation of the power grid and reliable power supply. In terms of power supply, Zhejiang is accelerating the construction of power sources. In cities like Hangzhou, Ningbo, and Jinhua, power supply companies are guiding local enterprises to actively utilize factory roofs and other spaces to build photovoltaic power stations, and accelerate the integration of new energy sources into the grid. Data shows that in the first five months of 2025, Zhejiang has connected 12 million kilowatts of new energy to the grid, and on clear afternoons, can increase power supply capacity by over 5 million kilowatts.
