Kikuyo Town in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, announced on the 19th that it will set up a new industrial park for semiconductor-related companies. The park will utilize about 24.2 hectares of agricultural land adjacent to TSMC's first factory in Kumamoto, and aims to sell the land for park use by fiscal year 2031. The park will attract companies that support semiconductor manufacturing and logistics to create jobs and increase tax revenue.
