Guangxi Liujian water level continues to rise, some water areas are closed for navigation.
The reporter learned from the Guangxi Maritime Bureau that due to the continuous heavy rainfall, rivers such as Liujiang, Guyihe, and Longjiang in Guangxi have been continuously rising. Parts of small and medium-sized rivers in cities such as Liuzhou, Guilin, and Hechi may experience floods exceeding the warning water level. After consultation and assessment, the Guangxi Maritime Bureau has initiated a level IV emergency response for flood prevention in inland waterways in Liuzhou, Guilin, and Hechi at 8:30 on June 20. Liuzhou Maritime Bureau issued a waterway traffic control notice at 15:31, deciding to close the water area from Liujian Bailu Bridge to Honghua Hub from 17:00 on June 20 due to the significant impact of floods on the safety of vessel navigation. It was required that no other vessels except emergency rescue vessels and government vessels on duty could pass through the controlled water area.
