The first Shanghai International Animation Month will kick off on July 4th. It is reported that the first Shanghai International Animation Month will for the first time integrate the three major anime events CCG EXPO (China International Comic and Game Expo), Bilibili World (Bilibili offline carnival), and ChinaJoy (China International Digital Interactive Entertainment Exhibition). This international animation month will deeply utilize XR (Extended Reality), holographic projection, immersive theater and other technologies to create a "virtual and real borderless" fantasy space at the three major exhibition venues. Leveraging the platforms of the three major expos, the 2025 Shanghai International Animation Month is expected to attract over one million domestic and foreign audiences. It is hoped that through a series of scene-based, immersive experiences, the cultural heat of the animation month can be directly converted into urban consumption increment, allowing "flow" to be transformed into "retention".
