Huirun Intelligent revealed in the investor relations activity report that the company is focusing on the manufacturing of core components for fusion reactors. Since 2021, it has been involved in the development and preliminary research of manufacturing processes for fusion reactor vacuum chambers, achieving breakthrough progress in the field of manufacturing core components for fusion reactors. In 2024, the company won the bid for segments 1-4 of the BEST vacuum chamber project contracted by Fusion New Energy Co., Ltd., with a total bid amount of 2.09 billion. Over 50 experiments have been conducted in areas such as vacuum chamber forming, processing, welding, non-destructive testing, measurement, etc. Major breakthroughs achieved include: solving precision control issues in hyperbolic thick plate forming, excessive rebound, and increased ferrite due to phase change during forming process; breakthroughs in electron beam welding of thick-walled austenitic stainless steel; development of advanced non-destructive testing techniques such as coarse crystal weld seam array ultrasonic testing.
