The sports bureau swimming center appointed Zhou Jihong as the head coach of the national diving team.

On the morning of June 20th, the ceremony for the appointment of the national diving team's head coach was held at the training center of the State Sports General Administration. In order to prepare for the Los Angeles Olympics, train, and compete in the national diving team, promote the high-quality development of the diving project, fully utilize Comrade Zhou Jihong's professional ability and leadership, continue to consolidate and improve the competitive level of the national diving team, unite and lead the team to achieve good results in future international competitions, and win greater glory for the country and the people. After research and decision by the Swimming Center of the State Sports General Administration, Zhou Jihong was officially appointed as the head coach of the national diving team, with a term from June 2025 to August 2028.
