Indian Airlines said on June 19 that the Boeing 787-8 aircraft that crashed near Ahmedabad airport in the state of Gujarat last week was "well-maintained" before the accident, and no problems were found. In a statement, Indian Airlines said, "The aircraft was well-maintained, with the last major inspection done in June 2023 and the next one scheduled for December 2025. The right engine of the aircraft underwent a thorough inspection in March 2025, and the left engine was checked in April 2025. The aircraft and engines were regularly monitored, and no issues were found before that flight."
