South Korea imposes temporary anti-dumping duties on sodium metabisulfite from China and Vietnam.

According to the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on June 20, the Planning and Finance Department of South Korea issued a notice, deciding to impose temporary anti-dumping duties on sodium hydrosulfite originating from China starting from June 21, 2025. The tax rate for Yantai Jinhe Insurance Powder Factory Co., Ltd. and its affiliated company Yantai Jinhai Chemical Co., Ltd. is 15.15%, while for Maoming Guandi Chemical Co., Ltd. and its affiliated company, as well as other producers/exporters in China, the rate is 33.97%. The measure will be in effect for four months until October 20, 2025.
