India imposes anti-dumping duty on Chinese aluminum foil

On June 19, the Indian Taxation Department of the Ministry of Finance issued a notice stating that it has accepted the affirmative final recommendation made by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry on March 20, 2025, to impose a five-year anti-dumping duty on aluminum foil with a thickness not exceeding 80 microns originating from or imported from China. The duty amount is between 479-721 US dollars per ton.
