Reporters learned from the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation that in recent days, the transportation system in Guangdong Province has been fully defending against the impact of this year's first typhoon "Butterfly" and heavy rainfall, continuously carrying out flood prevention, disaster relief, emergency road clearance work, and the province's highways and waterways are currently safe and orderly restored. As of 9:00 on June 20, 8 highways in Guangdong Province were closed due to the impact of the typhoon, and all have now resumed normal traffic; 16 highways were closed due to subsequent heavy rainfall, with 8 now fully open, and the remaining 8 partially open. 83 interruptions on ordinary national and provincial roads have been cleared, with 78 recovered, and the remaining 5 are currently being cleared. 111 interruptions on rural roads have been cleared, with 80 recovered, and the remaining 31 are currently being cleared.
