According to the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Commerce, as of now, the sales driven by the trade-in of consumer goods for new ones this year have exceeded the total for the whole of last year. Overall, the trade-in policy for consumer goods has continued to show results this year, effectively promoting continued consumer expansion and significantly driving industry transformation and upgrading. Next, it will be required that local commercial authorities make good use of the allocated support funds, refine the use of funds in different areas and time periods, smoothly and orderly promote the trade-in of consumer goods for new ones, and work together with relevant departments to strengthen product quality and price supervision, urging participating enterprises to operate in accordance with the law and regulations, strictly preventing fraud, and ensuring the policy is implemented in a standardized and orderly manner.
