China Business Association: The sales scale of China's Top 100 retailers in 2024 is 3.4 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.0%.

According to the financial news app, on June 19th, the China Commercial Federation and the China National Commercial Information Center jointly released the 2024 Chinese Retail TOP100 list at the "2025 China Commercial High-Quality Development Conference." According to the statistics from the China National Commercial Information Center, the sales volume of the top 100 Chinese retail businesses in 2024 was 3.4 trillion yuan. Calculated on a comparable basis, this represented a 2.0% year-on-year increase compared to 2023. In 2024, there were 5 retail companies in the top 100 with sales exceeding one trillion yuan, representing a 6.5% year-on-year increase and a 2.9 percentage point increase compared to 2023. Among the top 100 retail businesses in 2024, there were 66 physical retail enterprises in the region, with a total sales of 951.61 billion yuan, which increased by 1.2% year-on-year. This growth rate was faster than the 0.8 percentage point increase in cross-regional physical retail enterprises.
