Ministry of Finance: China will continue to support the ecological protection of other developing countries.

The World Bank Group Global Ecosystems and Transition Center in China recently held its first high-level symposium. Deputy Minister of Finance Liao Min stated that China will continue to support the ecological protection of other developing countries. The theme of the symposium was "Focusing on National Priority Development Areas to Promote Ecosystem Restoration." Deputy Minister of Finance Liao Min stated at the symposium that over the years, China has used green technology and green investment as important supports, continuously optimizing industrial structure, accelerating development mode transformation, and achieving significant reductions in energy consumption and pollution emissions while maintaining rapid economic growth. In addition, Liao Min stated that China actively participates in global agendas such as climate change and biodiversity protection, and provides support to other developing countries within the framework of South-South cooperation. China calls on the World Bank and other multilateral development banks to provide more funding, technology, and knowledge for the ecological protection of developing countries.
