Illegal collection and use of personal information, 4 securities companies and 3 banks' apps were notified.

Recently, the National Cyber Security Information Center announced that, after being detected by the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center, more than 60 mobile apps were found to illegally collect and use personal information. It was noted that among these mobile apps, there are 7 financial institution apps, including Chengtong Securities, Xingye Securities, Shengang Securities, and Wukuang Securities, as well as Longjiang Bank, Wuhai Bank, and Haixia Bank. It is understood that the National Cyber Security Information Center releases authoritative network security warning information on behalf of the country and spreads knowledge and skills for network security prevention. According to the center's report, the detection of the aforementioned over 60 mobile apps collecting and using personal information illegally was conducted from May 23, 2025 to June 11, 2025.
