Chinese scientist Xu Jianmin won the 70th International Meteorological Organization Award.

The World Meteorological Organization announced on the 19th that the 70th International Meteorological Organization Award will be presented to Chinese scientist Xu Jianmin. The decision was made at the annual meeting of the Executive Council of the World Meteorological Organization held in Geneva, Switzerland on the same day. Xu Jianmin will receive this award at the World Meteorological Organization Executive Council's annual meeting in 2026.
