The Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation recently issued a warning to Indian airlines, stating that three Airbus aircraft under its operation continue to fly despite the emergency equipment checks being overdue. Documents from the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation show that during a random inspection of three Airbus aircraft operated by Indian airlines in May, it was found that mandatory checks on "key emergency equipment" such as evacuation slides had expired, but these aircraft were still in operation. As of now, Indian airlines and Airbus have not responded to this issue.
