On June 19, Meituan announced the full-cycle data for the 618 promotion: from May 27 to June 18, the overall transaction volume of flash sales reached a new high. Compared to the same period last year, the transaction volume of over 60 categories of goods on Meituan's flash sales platform more than doubled, with nearly 850 retail brands experiencing a doubling of transaction volume. During the 618 promotion, the transaction volume of high-priced "big ticket" items such as mobile phones, liquor, baby formula, and large and small household appliances on Meituan's flash sales platform doubled, while the average consumption per user increased by nearly 40%.
