The State Drug Administration today announced 5 typical cases of illegal activities in the drug operation sector in the "clean source" action, including the case of a pharmacy illegally acquiring drugs through unauthorized channels, and the case of selling unregistered Type A botulinum toxin for injection on WeChat. Hangzhou Gu Zhi Jia Pharmacy Co., Ltd. failed to conduct prescription review and dispensing according to regulations: In February 2024, the Market Supervision Administration of Linping District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province conducted an on-site inspection of Hangzhou Gu Zhi Jia Pharmacy Co., Ltd. based on complaints and reports, and found that the pharmacy sold some prescription drugs through JD.com and Tmall platforms without strictly conducting prescription review and dispensing according to relevant regulations. The behavior of this pharmacy violates the provisions of Article 9 of the "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Drug Online Sales". In April 2024, the Market Supervision Administration of Linping District, Hangzhou City, in accordance with Article 34 of the "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Drug Online Sales", ordered the pharmacy to correct the above-mentioned illegal activities and imposed an administrative penalty of a fine of 40,000 yuan.
