Liao Min, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Finance, attended the First High-Level Seminar of the China-World Bank Group Global Ecosystem and Transformation Center.

On June 17, 2025, the China-World Bank Group Global Ecosystems and Transformation Center held its first high-level seminar in Beijing with the theme of "Promoting Ecosystem Restoration in Priority Areas for National Development." Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Liao Min stated that over the years, China has actively implemented the "Two Mountains Theory" emphasizing that "green waters and green mountains are as valuable as golden mountains and silver mountains". With green technology and green investment as important support, China has continuously optimized its industrial structure, accelerated the transformation of development modes, and achieved significant reductions in energy consumption and pollution emissions while maintaining rapid economic growth.
