Sudden heavy rain in Longshan County, Xiangxi, Hunan, more than 40 trapped individuals safely evacuated.

Last night at 6 o'clock, there was heavy rain in Longshan County, Xiangxi, Hunan Province, leading to severe flooding on the roads and in residential areas. Some residents were trapped, and local authorities immediately organized emergency response, fire rescue teams, and other departments to quickly rush to the scene for rescue operations. Upon arrival, the rescue team used a motorboat to conduct a thorough search of the residential areas, calming the residents with loudspeakers, and using methods like carrying and supporting to move elderly and children with limited mobility to safety. After 3 hours of continuous efforts, by around 8 o'clock this morning, more than 40 trapped individuals were safely moved to secure areas.
