Vitaly Sergeychuk, a member of the board of directors of the Russian Foreign Trade Bank, stated in an interview during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that foreign investors have not actually participated in IPO transactions in the Russian stock market, but there are signs that foreign investors are becoming interested in private transactions again. He pointed out, "Under current conditions, foreign investors hardly participate in IPO transactions in the Russian market. Changes in geopolitical situations and normalization of the external environment may change this situation. Currently, Russian institutional investors and retail investors are still the main participants in IPO transactions."
