At the 2025 Lujiazui Forum on June 18, the theme of "Promoting the Continued Stable Development of the Capital Market," CEO of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Laura Cha, stated that currently there are over 160 companies in the queue for IPO on the Hong Kong stock market, with over 40 companies submitting applications in May alone. She mentioned that the prosperity of the Hong Kong stock market today is also due to continuous reforms over the past few years. As someone involved in the exchange industry, one must always remember the original intention of serving the real economy and investors. China is now the world's second largest capital market, and major exchanges in mainland China and Hong Kong need to complement each other's strengths and jointly promote the construction of a multi-level capital market system.
