The online rumors about the suspension of Shanghai's "national subsidy" are not true.
According to the news from Shangguan, recently there were rumors online that the "Shanghai national subsidy will end after June 18th." However, visits to offline stores like Suning in Shanghai found that both the "national subsidy" and "city subsidy" are still being regularly distributed. Coupons can be collected from Alipay every day from 7:00 to 23:00, and consumers can either collect coupons through Alipay or directly enjoy subsidies. On online platforms like JD, after selecting Shanghai as the location, orders can still enjoy subsidies, with the system automatically calculating the "city subsidy," with some products for the elderly having a city subsidy of up to 30%. Posts claiming "the highest subsidy is 40%" are not true, as in reality, most products have subsidies ranging from 15% to 20%. Currently, there are no signs of the subsidy activities in Shanghai stopping, and residents can confidently purchase products that meet the criteria through official channels.
