The 2025 Lujiazui Forum was held in Shanghai on June 18th and 19th. During the forum, the "Zhongzheng China Bank-China People's Insurance Air Transport Development Theme Index," which was customized and developed by China Bank, China People's Insurance, and China Securities Index Co., Ltd., was officially released. The index selects listed company securities in the areas of water transportation, port operations, shipbuilding, container manufacturing, port machinery manufacturing, air transportation, and airport operations, which can comprehensively reflect the prosperity of the shipping industry and serve as indicators of the management level, profitability, and supply and demand situation of shipping companies. The index follows a conservative and long-term investment philosophy, selecting large-cap companies in each area based on the proportion of securities in the water shipping, shipbuilding and related manufacturing, and air transport sectors in the total sample, ranking them by total market value from high to low over the past year, and selecting a total of 50 securities as index samples.
