CSI China Bank - China Reinsurance Shipping Development Theme Index officially released

The 2025 Lujiazui Forum will be held in Shanghai on June 18th and 19th. During the forum, the "CICC Bank of China - PICC Aviation Development Theme Index", custom developed by Bank of China and PICC together applied to China Securities Index Co., Ltd, is officially released. The index selects listed companies in the fields of waterway transportation, port operation, shipbuilding, container manufacturing, port machinery manufacturing, air transportation, and airport operation to comprehensively reflect the prosperity of the aviation industry. It is an indicator that reflects the management level, profitability, and market supply and demand situation of aviation companies. The index follows a prudent and long-term investment concept, preferring large-cap companies. In the sample selection, the number of securities in the waterway transportation, shipbuilding and related manufacturing, and air transportation sectors are allocated based on their proportions, and within each sector, samples are selected based on the ranking of daily average total market value from high to low in the past year, selecting a total of 50 securities as index samples.
