Before the release of the June FOMC interest rate decision statement, the US dollar index fell by 0.1%, the US dollar against the Japanese yen fell by over 0.3%, and the US dollar against the Swiss franc rose by about 0.2%; the euro against the US dollar rose by more than 0.1%, the British pound against the US dollar rose by about 0.1%, and the Australian dollar against the US dollar rose by about 0.6%. Spot gold fell by about 0.1% and silver fell by over 0.6%. The yield on the US 10-year Treasury bond fell by 2.2 basis points, while the yield on the US 2-year Treasury bond fell by 1.9 basis points to 3.9330%. The S&P 500 index rose by more than 0.3%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by more than 0.3%, the Nasdaq rose by more than 0.4%, and the Philadelphia Bank Index rose by 1.9%.
