Amazon-owned self-driving car startup Zoox is increasing its efforts to produce autonomous taxi fleets. The company is set to launch its first commercial operation in Las Vegas, United States. Zoox has already opened a mass production factory in the San Francisco Bay Area, which will help expand its fleet of self-driving taxis. Once fully operational, the factory is expected to produce up to 10,000 vehicles per year. Zoox plans to launch public taxi services in Las Vegas later this year, followed by expansion to San Francisco.
